Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Clarkston, Washington, United States; onsite in an office and manufacturing environment

Salary: $69,000–$110,500 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus, short-term incentive, and long-term incentive award eligibility.

What you will do

• Serve as the finance point person and business partner for the Thunder Jet brand, supporting pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and business recommendations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close activities, accounting statements, schedules, analyses, and reports.
• Manage the costing system, including material costs and manufacturing overhead analysis.
• Supervise invoicing, fixed-asset administration, import and export activities, and state tax return preparation.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, maintain SOX documentation, and support internal and external audits.
• Provide shared-service support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and ad hoc financial projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least five years of work experience.
• Professional proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365, plus the ability to implement new processes and systems.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial information and apply strong business acumen.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter and team player with flexibility, multitasking ability, attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work onsite in an office and manufacturing environment, including use of required PPE in production areas.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing work experience.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methods such as 5S, Kaizen, or Lean Six Sigma.
