Machinery Maintenance Technician - Night Shift (Mon-Fri 5:30pm - 3:30pm + Sat 3:00pm - 11:30pm)

Location: Memphis, TN, United States; all tasks are performed on-site. Night shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30pm-3:30pm, plus Saturday, 3:00pm-11:30pm.

What you will do

• Measure voltage, current, and power in AC/DC circuits and use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot electrical and automation issues.
• Perform basic wiring and maintain electrical systems while applying NEC, NESC, UL, and ETL knowledge.
• Install, align, and maintain belt drives, pulleys, chains, sprocket drives, shafts, bearings, and motors.
• Maintain pneumatic and fluid systems, including hoses, pumps, valves, cylinders, filters, regulators, seals, compressors, and vacuum pumps.
• Perform basic pipe fitting and welding-related maintenance, including the safe use of MIG and TIG equipment.
• Evaluate corrective machinery repairs, use preventive maintenance software, and complete assigned maintenance education activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and certification in a skilled maintenance trade.
• 1-3 years of basic mechanical experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, electronic communication, and file management.
• Ability to learn and use preventive maintenance software for factory equipment.
• Basic understanding of equipment controls and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Memphis, Tennessee, in a dusty factory environment with extreme temperatures, elevated heights, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Material handling certification, Lock Out/Tag Out training, lifting and rigging experience, preventive or predictive maintenance experience, or journeyman/trades licensing.
