Maintenance I - (2nd Shift)

Location: Reed City, Michigan, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and replacement of worn components.
• Assist experienced technicians with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and facility systems.
• Support basic plumbing, welding, light-duty electrical work, and mechanical assembly.
• Operate light- and medium-duty industrial equipment and assist with installing or relocating production equipment.
• Document completed maintenance work and findings accurately.
• Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout-tagout and confined-space requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–10 years of maintenance experience, including mechanic apprenticeship experience.
• Ability to accurately read measuring devices and use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance methods.
