Vice President, Events & Hospitality

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work

Salary: $170,000.00–$190,000.00 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

Horizon Sports and Experiences provides integrated sports and experiential marketing services, including IP creation, media rights, sponsorship, sales, strategic consulting, and event activation.

What you will do

• Lead the growth and performance of consumer events and B2B hospitality programs for brand clients.
• Develop event strategies, objectives, experiential marketing campaigns, and corporate hospitality programs with clients.
• Manage senior client relationships, onboarding, service quality, business metrics, and client expectations.
• Oversee event operations, planning deadlines, deliverables, budgets, contracts, vendors, logistics, safety, and onsite execution.
• Develop direct reports through goal-setting, performance feedback, coaching, training, hiring, and onboarding.
• Support new business development through pitches, presentations, organic client growth, and new experiential opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of event management experience at an agency, team, league, or brand.
• Advanced understanding of corporate hospitality programs, event production, and operations.
• Experience leading work, setting priorities, delegating, monitoring progress, and coaching at least four team members.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and client communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in arts or science.
• Ability to work nights and weekends and travel for events.
