VP, Event Marketing & Experiences

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work with required commuting to the nearest hirify.global Hub and 50% or more business travel

Salary: $110,000–$185,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Set the strategy for flagship client events, AI and technology conferences, board meetings, hospitality programs, and consumer or brand pilots.
• Connect event strategy with corporate affairs, communications, advocacy, business engagement, and enterprise storytelling priorities.
• Lead ideation, planning, and delivery of high-visibility external events, including executive readiness, production oversight, run-of-show quality, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage agencies, vendors, budgets, scopes, timelines, and production decisions.
• Define success metrics, capture post-event insights, and improve audience engagement, reputation value, and portfolio performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of progressive related experience.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, global event production, executive engagement, field marketing, or corporate events.
• Experience leading high-visibility external events such as executive programs, client experiences, conferences, summits, hospitality programs, or brand experiences.
• Experience translating business goals and audience insights into event strategies, content formats, executive moments, and measurable engagement plans.
• Experience managing executive participation, agencies, production teams, vendors, budgets, timelines, and senior stakeholders.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of progressive experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, global event production, executive engagement, field marketing, or corporate events.
• Experience in technology, AI, financial services, retail, health and wellness, venture capital, or innovation forums.
• Political, issue, brand, and narrative fluency with experience advising leaders on external-facing experiences.
• Strong leadership presence, communication skills, judgment, integrity, and discretion in high-stakes environments.
