Product Manager — PriorAuth (AI/Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional in-person team meetups.

Base salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD per year, plus bonus.

hirify.global presents this opportunity on behalf of a partner developing an AI-powered prior authorization and healthcare case management platform.

What you will do

• Own execution and measurable outcomes for the prior authorization product across key clinical workflows.
• Translate eligibility checks, form completion, medical necessity letters, and case tracking into intuitive AI-enabled experiences.
• Identify opportunities for automation, intelligent agents, relevant answers, and faster clinical decisions.
• Build prototypes, prompts, experiments, and production-quality code alongside engineering.
• Define product metrics, instrument analytics, query usage data, and use insights to guide prioritization and growth.
• Shape AI reliability practices and integrations with electronic prior authorization, pharmacy, and electronic medical record systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of product management experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or B2B platforms.
• Hands-on coding ability and familiarity with Python, JavaScript, LLMs, AI coding tools, and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong product-data skills, including SQL, product analytics, metric definition, and data-driven prioritization.
• Experience with AI/ML products, conversational AI, agentic automation, prompting, confidence scoring, evaluation, error handling, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Knowledge of prior authorization or related healthcare processes, HIPAA, EHR/EMR systems, FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TEFCA and QHIN ecosystems.
• Experience with Epic SMART on FHIR and healthcare app marketplace certification requirements.
