Senior AI Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office and remaining days remotely; candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from Louisville, Chicago, New York, Dallas, Boston, or Washington, DC.

Salary: $124,800–$171,600 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Own the discovery, definition, prototyping, evaluation, delivery, and iteration of AI products or major capabilities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational problems and define scoped AI use cases with clear value propositions.
• Build working AI prototypes and demos using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenAI Codex.
• Translate validated use cases into PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, success metrics, and prioritized backlogs.
• Design golden sets, establish ground truth, run offline and live evaluations, and use metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1, task success, and hallucination rate to guide product decisions.
• Coordinate architecture, prompt engineering, cross-functional delivery, stakeholder communication, and enterprise AI governance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of product or related experience, including 3+ years in product management.
• Hands-on experience building or shipping AI/ML or GenAI products and regularly prototyping with AI tools.
• Experience creating or running evaluations with golden sets, ground truth, and accuracy-, precision-, and recall-based metrics.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, agents, prompt or harness engineering, and evaluation methodology.
• Ability to communicate across business and technical domains and develop value propositions and basic business cases.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with agent frameworks, GraphRAG, knowledge graphs, reusable skills, or plugins.
• Working proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, bias mitigation, and sensitive-data compliance.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
