TL;DR
Regulatory & Environmental Compliance Analyst (Environmental Compliance): Supporting environmental reporting, permitting, regulatory submissions, and product compliance for sustainable agricultural pest-management technologies with an accent on federal and state requirements, environmental documentation, and manufacturing compliance. Focus on maintaining permits and records, supporting inspections and audits, monitoring regulatory changes, and strengthening compliance programs in an onsite environment.

Location: Full-time onsite in Bend, Oregon, USA; regular onsite collaboration is required. Remote and hybrid work are not available. Relocation to the Bend area is required for candidates who do not currently live locally.

What you will do

  • Prepare and maintain environmental reports for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Support environmental permitting and compliance activities covering waste management, air emissions, hazardous materials, and chemical reporting.
  • Assist with regulatory submissions, product registrations, renewals, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain permits, certifications, regulatory files, and accurate compliance records.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate potential business impacts.
  • Support inspections, agency requests, audits, compliance procedures, and employee training materials while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or a related scientific field.
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, EHS, environmental consulting, manufacturing compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience preparing documentation for federal or state agencies such as EPA, OSHA, DEQ, or ODA.
  • Experience supporting environmental reporting, permitting, inspections, or compliance documentation.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

  • Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, chemical manufacturing, biotechnology, or food production.
  • Familiarity with pesticide, chemical, or environmental regulations.
  • Experience participating in regulatory inspections or compliance audits.
