Location: Phoenix, Arizona, USA; in-office with the possibility of one remote day in a hybrid schedule

What you will do

• Manage and conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead investigations involving soil, groundwater, vapor intrusion, hazardous materials, and environmental compliance.
• Define project objectives, scopes, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and performance standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, laboratories, vendors, and field personnel.
• Oversee site reconnaissance, sampling, monitoring well installation, air monitoring, data analysis, and technical reporting.
• Communicate with clients and regulatory stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and support proposals and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in environmental assessments, investigations, and consulting projects.
• At least 1 year of experience managing project budgets, schedules, and technical staff.
• Knowledge of Phase I ASTM E1527-21 and Phase II ASTM E1903 standards.
• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong technical writing, organizational, analytical, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and training skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CHMM, PE, GIT, RG, PG, PMP, ASTM Environmental Professional, or EPA and AHERA certifications.
• Experience with industrial hygiene services, including asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, and mold assessments.
• Experience supporting public agencies, municipalities, utilities, industrial facilities, and private-sector clients.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
