TL;DR
Site HR Business Partner (Manufacturing HR): Supporting site leadership and the production workforce through workforce planning, employee relations, staffing, compliance, training, and performance management with an accent on high-volume manufacturing operations and workforce stability. Focus on coaching leaders, conducting investigations, using HR metrics to improve decisions, and partnering with operations, corporate HR, Talent Acquisition, EHS, and Legal.

Location: Houston, TX; site-based role

hirify.global's TAS business engineers and manufactures packaged modular systems for data centers, power, and commercial and industrial utility applications.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for site leadership and translate business goals into HR strategies supporting production, quality, safety, and workforce stability.
  • Lead workforce planning, staffing strategies, organizational design, retention initiatives, and hiring coordination for hourly, skilled-trade, and salaried roles.
  • Manage employee relations, including leader coaching, workplace investigations, issue resolution, corrective actions, and performance development plans.
  • Oversee onboarding, employee integration, attendance, leaves of absence, accommodations, personnel records, and unemployment claim support.
  • Partner with corporate HR, Talent Acquisition, Training, EHS, and Legal on company programs, compliance training, safety initiatives, workers' compensation, and employment matters.
  • Maintain HR metrics and dashboards, apply data-driven insights, and promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in high-volume manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and coaching leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operations leaders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; extensive relevant experience and training may substitute for the degree.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, familiarity with HCM systems, and ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to work primarily on site in Houston, TX and maintain visibility on the production floor.

Nice to have

  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience in a multi-shift manufacturing company.
