TL;DR
HR Business Partner (Manufacturing): Supporting workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, talent management, and organizational performance across operational business units with an accent on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development. Focus on analyzing workforce trends, resolving workplace concerns, coaching leaders, and implementing HR programs in manufacturing and facility environments.

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. Full-time, primarily office-based role with regular presence at assigned facilities and occasional travel between manufacturing and operational sites.

What you will do

  • Partner with business leaders and managers to align HR strategies with operational objectives.
  • Advise on employee relations, performance management, engagement, retention, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze workforce metrics, turnover, attendance, staffing levels, and employee data to identify risks and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations, review documentation, resolve workplace concerns, and recommend actions consistent with policies and employment laws.
  • Coach managers on performance issues, corrective actions, conflict resolution, employee development, and workplace concerns.
  • Support talent planning, succession planning, organizational changes, change management, training, engagement, and HR process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources, employee relations, talent management, organizational development, workforce planning, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employee relations practices, employment law, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Experience conducting employee investigations and resolving workplace concerns.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems, workforce analytics tools, reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, multi-site, or operational environments.
  • Experience mentoring less experienced HR team members.
