What you will do

• Provide individualized and small-group academic support, tutoring, and remediation for nursing students.
• Assess learning styles, identify strengths and development opportunities, and create personalized remediation plans.
• Facilitate simulation-based experiences and clinical learning labs, including equipment maintenance, supply ordering, setup, and cleanup.
• Develop clinically based scenarios and simulated patient-care experiences using high-fidelity patient simulators.
• Support NCLEX-RN preparation by creating Next Generation NCLEX activities and workshops.
• Coordinate lab experiences, supervise technical nursing skills practice, support at-risk student outreach, and report academic progress to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; a master’s degree in education or nursing is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification and BLS CPR instructor certification required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and proofreading skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ability to work with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
