BSN Instructor - Full Time or Per Diem (must hold MSN)

Location: Reno, Nevada, USA; campus-based position

Salary: $93,000–$96,000 annually for full-time employment or $50 per hour for per diem work

What you will do

• Deliver instruction for assigned nursing classes, laboratories, clinicals, and simulated clinical experiences.
• Supervise, debrief, and evaluate student performance against course and clinical learning outcomes.
• Plan and coordinate student clinical assignments with healthcare facilities while meeting safety and program requirements.
• Maintain attendance, grades, skills check-off forms, student records, and required program reports.
• Collaborate with instructors on examinations, final evaluations, orientation, assessment, and instructional-quality initiatives.
• Advise students, provide ongoing communication and feedback, and participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing degree required.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license and eligibility to meet the Board of Registered Nursing faculty requirements in the state of employment.
• At least four years of Registered Nurse experience.
• Current nursing-practice knowledge, student-mentoring ability, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in educational methodology, nursing practice, subject-matter instruction, or distance-education techniques.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
