Payroll Specialist US & Canada

What you will do

• Lead regional payroll processing for employees in the United States and Canada.
• Calculate wages, deductions, and taxes accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and country-specific payroll tax requirements.
• Prepare payroll tax returns and generate and review payroll reports.
• Maintain payroll records and employee files while handling confidential information.
• Resolve complex payroll inquiries, provide payroll and tax guidance, and support system upgrades and implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of payroll processing experience, particularly with multi-state tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Workday, ADP GlobalView, ADP Smart Compliance, Celergo, and UKG Kronos.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
