End of Line Tester (HVAC Certificate)

Location: Longview, TX, United States; onsite at a manufacturing facility

hirify.global produces commercial HVAC systems that require end-of-line testing against production and engineering standards.

What you will do

• Test commercial HVAC units from production lines against work orders and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair defects in test units to complete run testing.
• Operate recovery and reclaim equipment to remove refrigerant before repairing leaks.
• Charge units with refrigerant, check for leaks, and repair leaks using brazing equipment.
• Coordinate coworkers and activities with other departments to meet quality and production schedules.
• Train new employees and perform wiring, brazing, and assembly as required.

Requirements

• HVAC Certificate required.
• Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant license required.
• Vocational or technical training required.
• 0–5 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, stoop, sit for prolonged periods, and work in seasonal heat and cold, dust, and some chemical fumes.
