Robot Service Technician – Full Time/Contract (Robotics)

Location: Onsite, available to candidates local to the Miami, Florida area. The posting header lists Towson, Maryland. Local travel between operational sites may be required.

Develops and operates autonomous cars and delivery robots, combining shared technologies across both platforms and deploying autonomous vehicles in real-world environments.

What you will do

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, sensors, and mechanical and electrical robot subsystems.
• Install, configure, and replace LiDAR, camera, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, investigate incidents, and complete repair campaigns.
• Test and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including suspension and battery components.
• Support robot deployment, testing, validation, field operations, rapid prototyping, and hardware validation.
• Document service findings and manage inventory, equipment, and replacement parts.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, measuring equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings, technical documentation, schematics, and assembly procedures.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to work onsite in the Miami, Florida area.

Nice to have

• Automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, electric vehicle, robotics, or autonomous systems experience.
• Soldering and wire crimping experience.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
