Location: Predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, United States; some remote support may be approved by the Contracting Officer.

What you will do

  • Evaluate and oversee groundwater remediation programs supporting DOE Environmental Management and the Hanford Field Office.
  • Support RCRA, CERCLA, and NEPA compliance, groundwater monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and provide oversight of groundwater activities and remediation operations.
  • Prepare regulator-ready compliance packages and program documentation.
  • Provide project and program management support, project controls, regulatory compliance, engineering consulting, and waste management assistance.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in environmental compliance or remediation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
  • HAZWOPER certification.
  • Experience with regulatory interpretation, data QA/QC, groundwater monitoring, and analysis.
  • Risk awareness and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
