Remedial System Technician

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Ballston Spa, New York, USA

Salary: $23–$28 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and maintain soil and groundwater remediation systems including vapor extraction and air sparging.
• Install, troubleshoot, and decommission remediation equipment and electronic controls.
• Perform pilot testing and system performance evaluations.
• Conduct site inspections and collect soil and groundwater samples.
• Ensure safe operation of company vehicles and equipment.
• Submit accurate work orders and timesheets in accordance with project schedules.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant field experience (plumbing or electrical skills are highly transferable).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot pumps and electronic controls.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to the office daily.
• Ability to travel with overnights required across New York State.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Nice to have

• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• 10-hour Construction Safety certification.
