Senior Director, Commercial Banking

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; may require up to 50% travel.

Salary: $170,000–$209,458 per year for new hires in Los Angeles, with potential annual bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock.

What you will do

• Execute the commercial banking business-line strategy and local growth plan.
• Lead commercial bankers, business development officers, portfolio management staff, lenders, and analysts.
• Expand market share, retain and deepen existing customer relationships, and develop targeted prospects.
• Structure, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of complex loans, deposits, and treasury products.
• Manage sales pipelines, portfolio reviews, CRM reporting, market research, and product recommendations.
• Present loan requests to credit administration or loan committees and represent the Bank in local community activities.

Requirements

• 9+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of commercial banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and related products.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, pricing dynamics, regulatory compliance, and legal obligations.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
