Tire and Battery Service Advisor (Automotive)

Location: Onsite in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States

Hourly wage: $20.00–$28.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain safety, organization, stocking, zoning, and merchandise standards in the Tire and Battery Center.
• Monitor tire and battery orders, assist with installation appointments, communicate order changes, and recommend alternative fitments or services.
• Support members with tire maintenance, repairs, product selection, warranties, purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Triage and prioritize service-bay workflow using Sam’s Garage, appointment information, service requirements, and queue status.
• Operate TBC equipment, complete vehicle service requests and tests, maintain documentation, and follow tire, battery, safety, and compliance standards.
• Use handheld and digital tools to support sales, service operations, product knowledge, training, and team adoption of new technology.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow safety policies, hazardous-material handling procedures, equipment requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with members, including in challenging situations.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale hardware and process member payments according to applicable procedures.

Nice to have

• Auto service industry experience.
• Retail experience.
