Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Location: Onsite in Garland, Texas, United States

Salary: $19.00–$27.00 per hour, with potential premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Maintain Tire and Battery Center safety, cleanliness, organization, stocking, zoning, and merchandise presentation.
• Monitor tire and battery orders, assist with installation appointments, communicate lead-time changes and cancellations, and suggest alternatives.
• Recommend suitable tire and battery products, explain warranties, assist with purchasing and service decisions, and resolve member concerns.
• Triage service-bay workflow, prioritize appointments, assess service requirements, and coordinate with team leads and technicians.
• Operate TBC equipment, complete vehicle service requests and documentation, and process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Support sales and service excellence, promote TBC offerings, and help train and develop team members.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Ability to use digital tools and handheld devices, follow procedures, collaborate with managers and coworkers, and adapt to change.

• Auto service industry experience.
• Retail experience.
