Tire and Battery Service Advisor PT (Automotive)

Location: South Charleston, West Virginia, United States; onsite at the Tire and Battery Center

Hourly wage: $19.00–$27.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Walmart and Sam's Club operate retail facilities providing merchandise, tire and battery products, vehicle services, and member support.

What you will do

• Maintain Tire and Battery Center safety, sales-floor standards, merchandise organization, displays, stocking, pricing, returns, and damage handling.
• Monitor tire and battery orders, assist with installation appointments, communicate lead-time changes and cancellations, and suggest alternative fitments or services.
• Provide member guidance on tire and battery products, warranties, maintenance, repairs, and purchasing decisions using Sam's Garage and product references.
• Triage service-bay workflows, prioritize appointments, track waiting members, and coordinate recommendations with the Team Lead and technicians.
• Operate TBC equipment, point-of-sale hardware, digital tools, and handheld devices while completing service requests, payments, returns, refunds, exchanges, and documentation.
• Support sales and service excellence by collaborating with associates, training team members, resolving concerns, and promoting TBC offerings.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and point-of-sale procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with members, handle challenging situations professionally and empathetically, and work with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
• Work onsite at the South Charleston, West Virginia facility.
