Tire And Battery Center Team Leader (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at 6611 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, United States

Salary: $22.00–$30.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

Sam’s Club, part of Walmart, is opening a new retail club in Baytown, Texas.

What you will do

• Lead Tire and Battery Center associates in executing business plans and delivering member service.
• Maintain expertise in tire and battery service standards, safety protocols, equipment operation, TPMS, recalls, and product specifications.
• Train, coach, and develop associates through hands-on leadership and required learning programs.
• Manage equipment, tools, supplies, expenses, inventory, returns, and special orders.
• Support staffing, scheduling, register operations, and hands-on service when needed.
• Complete audits, safety requirements, and operational documentation accurately and on time.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of supervisory experience or 6 months of automotive industry experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete required job training and assessments within the prescribed period.
• Knowledge of tire and battery services, safety, compliance, equipment, and service standards.

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience in the tire industry.
• Tire industry certification.
