Asst. Project Manager, CM (Data Centers)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, with up to 90% travel to client project sites in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio

Annual salary: $119,954, plus a full benefits package

What you will do

• Monitor, coordinate, and manage assigned construction engineering projects from planning through closeout.
• Manage budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move management planning, and closeout activities.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, cash flow analyses, cost estimates, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
• Monitor design and construction work for compliance with contracts, schedules, specifications, budgets, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve project risks, liabilities, issues, and conflicts.
• Use construction project management applications and develop standards, protocols, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• At least 3 years of experience in the duties of the position; up to 2 years may be substituted with a relevant master’s degree.
• At least 1 year of experience with construction engineering projects for data centers.
• Experience with AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and construction project management applications, including ACC Autodesk, e-Builder, Prolog, MS Project, Primavera P6, BlueBeam, Procore, MS Nexus, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Must be authorized to accept permanent employment in the United States with any employer.
