Assistant Project Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; full-time, with travel as project needs require.

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with project schedules, logistics, safety, quality, ICRA, and ILSM plans.
• Coordinate subcontractor buyout, shop drawing reviews, material procurement, delivery, and project meetings.
• Assist with budgets, GMP and lump-sum pricing, cost tracking, forecasting, change events, and project reporting.
• Track milestones, identify schedule and project risks, support recovery planning, and assist with claims and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate quality control, commissioning, turnover documentation, warranty follow-up, and project closeout.
• Support preconstruction, estimating, client presentations, business development, and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 3–6 years of construction management experience, preferably on complex projects; healthcare construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple project phases concurrently.
• Proficiency with construction software such as CMiC, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
• Exposure to BIM coordination and clash detection, plus working knowledge of construction contracts, change management, project accounting, scheduling, procurement, and estimating.
• Must work in the Atlanta market and be willing to travel as project needs require.
