Manager, D365 CE & Power Platform Engineering (React)

Location: Chicago; hybrid work with a requirement to work in the office at least 2–3 days each week.

Salary: $107,000–$214,500 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead solution architecture and delivery for Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
• Guide custom application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, PCF controls, plugins, custom APIs, integrations, React, Angular, and Next.js.
• Establish secure, scalable architectural patterns for front-end extensibility, API integrations, and deployments.
• Review designs, code, and solutions for performance, security, maintainability, and enterprise standards.
• Mentor developers, support staffing and skills development, and partner with architects and team leads.
• Lead technical discovery, solution shaping, prototyping, and client advisory engagements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering Microsoft business applications, including significant Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform experience.
• Strong modern front-end experience with React required; Angular and/or Next.js are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern UI patterns.
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences.
• Ability to work in the Chicago office at least 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Power Platform with custom front-end applications and Azure services.
• Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, or Field Service architecture experience.
• Familiarity with Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, CI/CD, and ALM.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and consulting or client-facing delivery.
