Distribution Customer Service Agent (Logistics)

Location: 150 Raritan Center Pkwy, Edison, NJ 08837, USA; full-time onsite position

Salary: USD 48,000–51,000 per year

What you will do

• Process customer orders and distribution account transactions, including receiving, allocation, shipping, inventory movements, and cycle counts.
• Prepare operational reports, stock reports, work-order paperwork, invoices, billing documentation, and account records.
• Coordinate urgent and special shipping requests with transportation and operations teams, and trace orders as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints regarding orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory.
• Coordinate information between customers, warehouse staff, and office teams, including returns, damages, backorders, credits, and invoicing changes.
• Maintain account files, procedures manuals, warehouse documentation, and inventory records.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Excellent attendance and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and put in extra hours when required.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with software applications and basic knowledge of inventory control.
