Customer Service Representative

Location: Waco, Texas, United States

Salary: $40,320–$50,400 annually, plus an annual performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Receive, process, track, and schedule customer orders through completion.
• Respond to customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, freight rates, allocations, delivery dates, quotations, samples, and specifications.
• Coordinate with sales, design, production, and other internal departments to ensure complete orders, accurate invoicing, and on-time delivery.
• Communicate account and order updates, manage order changes, and resolve customer complaints and billing adjustment requests.
• Maintain organized customer files and reconcile inventory with customer orders, forecasts, and just-in-time schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of customer service experience involving customer orders and an order entry system.
• Experience building and maintaining positive customer business relationships.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, active listening, and detail-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, handle multiple requests, and work flexible hours or overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or college-level business coursework.
• Experience with an automated order entry system.
• Experience in manufacturing, containerboard, or corrugated packaging.
• Previous experience working in a team environment.
