Service Tech I (HVAC)

Location: Saint George, Utah, with daily travel throughout Southern Utah

What you will do

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Service associated HVAC control systems and complete assignments independently.
• Identify and resolve complex equipment problems while delivering competent customer service.
• Follow industry safety practices when working around mechanical parts, heavy equipment, high voltage, chemicals, and extreme weather.
• Complete ongoing training and develop knowledge of products and service processes.
• Travel daily to service locations, with rare overnight travel, and work overtime or weekends as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of on-the-job HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Universal refrigeration license.
• Manufacturer-specific certificates and a valid driver's license.
• Basic mathematical, language, communication, and reasoning skills.
• Ability to work full time in the Southern Utah service area and meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 100 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

• Boiler and chiller experience.
• NATE Certification.
