Chiller Technician (HVAC)

Location: Brea, California, United States. Field-based work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

Hourly base pay: $39.87–$75.54.

What you will do

• Service and assemble 50-ton to 4000-ton chillers and DX units.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and modify HVAC and chiller equipment at customer locations.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Test chillers, perform point-to-point testing, start up and commission assigned equipment.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete repairs.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers while working shifts, overtime, and on call as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school education or formal training certification.
• At least 10 years of HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
