What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair facility equipment and utility systems, including HVAC units, air compressors, cooling towers, generators, plumbing, sewer, and lighting.
• Respond to work orders and emergency repairs while documenting maintenance activities and ensuring timely resolution.
• Support facility improvement, renovation, equipment installation, and production-area maintenance projects.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and scissor lifts, and service ceiling-height utilities.
• Assist electricians with conduit, wire, and cabling installation; collaborate with technicians and external service providers.
• Monitor contractor work, manage materials within budgetary guidelines, and maintain OSHA and other regulatory documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
• At least three years of manufacturing facility or utility maintenance experience required; five years preferred.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, equipment repair, and maintenance, with the ability to interpret gauges and diagnose operating errors.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools and equipment requiring hot-work permits, including welders, grinders, and torches.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other industrial equipment after proper training.
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Two-year technical degree.
• Five years of manufacturing facility or utility maintenance experience.
