Building Operations Supervisor

What you will do

• Supervise maintenance technicians handling HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.
• Plan and coordinate building maintenance, work orders, inventories, equipment records, and vendor invoices.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving chillers, air handlers, rooftop units, boilers, controls, distribution panels, motors, plumbing, drainage, and backflow systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze asset utilization, maintenance costs, preventive-maintenance compliance, and schedule compliance.
• Train, equip, motivate, and support the hiring, onboarding, and performance review of maintenance team members.
• Support budgets, safety programs, regulatory compliance, operational improvements, and cost-reduction projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree or trade/vocational certification is preferred.
• EPA Universal CFC refrigerant-handling certification required.
• 5–10 years of directly related building operations or facilities maintenance experience.
• Hands-on HVAC expertise required, with working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proven ability to supervise technical teams, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and work independently.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required by building needs; proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
