Maintenance Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on pumps, air handlers, exhaust fans, plumbing fixtures, lighting, doors, and other building equipment.
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, water, industrial electrical distribution, fire protection, sewage, and general building infrastructure.
• Install, repair, and replace office furniture, modular walls, workstations, ceiling tiles, carpeting, appliances, signage, locks, and related fixtures.
• Complete personnel moves, room setups, equipment assembly, inspections, and touch-up painting.
• Perform qualified Electro-Mechanical Technician responsibilities and assist EMTs as assigned.

Requirements

• Industrial maintenance experience, including the ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree in trades is preferred, or 3+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience may substitute.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and building system documentation.
• Experience with shop tools; forklift operation, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record are required.
• Ability to access roofs and use extension ladders, man lifts, and scissor lifts; ability to lift over 50 pounds consistently.
• Availability Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime, and ability to maintain certification to issue Safety Work Permits.
