Project Controls Manager (Construction)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite

Salary: $130,962.60–$149,671.54 per year

What you will do

• Lead project controls and scheduling activities across complex capital programs.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze CPM schedules across planning, design, construction, and closeout.
• Review contractor schedules, sequencing, updates, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Perform or review Time Impact Analyses, delay analyses, claims support, and change-order schedule impacts.
• Identify critical-path risks, float erosion, and potential delays while developing recovery and mitigation strategies.
• Advise project teams, clients, and executive stakeholders, and mentor junior project controls staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 20+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or construction management.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction projects valued at $1.5B or more.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, phasing, schedule risk analysis, and recovery planning.
• Experience with Time Impact Analysis, claims support, and complex capital programs; contractor-side experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with cost/resource loading and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management concepts.
• Healthcare or hospital construction experience.
• Planning & Scheduling Professional or Certified Construction Manager certification.
