Director, Strategic Finance

Location: Fully remote within the United States; candidates near hirify.global offices may choose hybrid work with in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Travel to hirify.global offices or on behalf of hirify.global business is required 4–6 times per year.

Salary: $80,000–$135,000 annually, adjusted by location. Estimated ranges include $105,000–$135,000 in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles; $90,000–$120,000 in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Denver; and $80,000–$108,000 in Atlanta, Miami, Iowa City, and most other Southeast and Midwest locations.

What you will do

• Run annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for assigned programs.
• Lead monthly variance reviews and maintain expense projections using updated vendor, program, and market assumptions.
• Build and streamline financial models and proactively assess risks, opportunities, and watch items.
• Conduct unit cost analyses, ROI assessments, cost reduction exercises, and other strategic finance projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and custom financial reports with actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Partner with program and cross-functional leaders as the finance expert for portfolio priorities and resourcing needs.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related technical field preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, prioritization, and financial modeling skills.
• Strong communication skills, including summarizing complex financial analyses and presenting findings to senior management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills; experience with financial planning systems such as Workday Adaptive Planning is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel 4–6 times annually.

• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related technical field.
