P&ID Designer

What you will do

• Administer P&ID software and act as the primary liaison between design and construction staff.
• Establish standardized design and construction practices, project parameters, templates, and content.
• Manage database creation, project audits, P&ID infrastructure, and supporting project files.
• Prepare, execute, and finalize P&ID drawings, specifications, lists, bills of materials, and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate P&ID activities across project stakeholders and assist with project planning and resource coordination.
• Advance VDC/P&ID initiatives through software research, training strategies, mentoring, and end-user support.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in an architecture/engineering/design firm or the construction industry.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD platforms.
• Associate degree in Computer-Aided Design, bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, a construction management certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of contractual delivery methods and standard VDC documentation such as BEP and BIMForum guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Revit and 3D collaboration tools such as Navisworks, BIM360, or Assemble.
• Experience with content development, SQL or SQLite databases, and programming.
• Industry VDC certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional or CM-BIM.
