BIM Modeler, Structural (AI Data Centers)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; primarily in-office. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

What you will do

• Own and develop structural Revit models for foundations, steel framing, module and skid base frames, equipment supports, platforms, guarding, and outdoor structures.
• Model equipment pads, embeds, and anchor bolt layouts, verifying them against equipment general arrangement drawings before pours and shop release.
• Convert partner and EPC contractor AutoCAD deliverables into native Revit geometry and produce accurate CAD outputs when required.
• Maintain structural content in federated models, run Navisworks clash tests, and resolve structural interferences.
• Produce foundation, framing, section, embed, and anchor bolt drawing packages through 30/60/90%, IFA, IFP, and IFC project gates.
• Build parametric Revit families, templates, and standards for repeatable structural modeling across future campuses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of structural Revit modeling experience on industrial, energy, substation, or mission-critical projects.
• Expert Autodesk Revit and Revit Structure skills, including family creation, parametric content, worksharing, and shared coordinates.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency and the ability to transfer work between AutoCAD and Revit without losing accuracy.
• Experience with foundations, equipment pads, anchor bolts, embeds, structural calculations, geotechnical reports, and equipment drawings.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC 360, plus Navisworks clash detection and resolution.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Data center, mission-critical, substation, modular, or prefabricated construction experience.
• Steel detailing experience with Advance Steel, Tekla Structures, or SDS/2.
• Dynamo or Revit API scripting experience for modeling and quality-assurance automation.
