What you will do

• Develop civil site improvement and land development designs from preliminary design through construction.
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, earthwork calculations, public improvement plans, and stormwater management and water quality facilities.
• Design utility plans, including gravity and pressure pipe networks.
• Create and manage Civil 3D surface models, corridors, profiles, assemblies, parts, and sheet sets.
• Coordinate civil workflows with architectural and structural BIM models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and counterparts in other offices to coordinate workloads.

Requirements

• Technical or associate degree in civil engineering, civil design, or drafting/CAD.
• Five to seven years of progressive experience in civil site improvement drafting and design.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including Sheet Set Manager, surface models, corridors, pipe networks, and profiles.
• Knowledge of planning, permitting, design, and construction standards and practices.
• Experience with GIS terminology and importing GIS data, as well as public improvement, grading, and utility plans.
