Workload Planning Permit Coor (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing)

Location: Onsite in Baltimore, Maryland; this is not a hybrid position.

Salary: $60,460–$67,178 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate electrical, HVAC, and plumbing permit acquisition across state and local jurisdictions.
• Work with project managers and contractors to ensure timely submissions and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Assist the Permits Supervisor with maintaining and renewing company trade licenses and insurance documentation.
• Maintain accurate permit and license records.
• Monitor permitting requirements and provide guidance on regulatory updates and processes.
• Build relationships with inspectors and jurisdictional authorities and review project information for permit readiness.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of state and local permit regulations and requirements.
• Two years of permit management experience, preferably in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing industries.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing codes.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office-based team environment.
• Proficiency with relevant software and tools.

Nice to have

• Journeyman trade license in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
