Project Coordinator, Facilities - SS (Mission Critical Facilities)

Location: Ohio - Columbus, One hirify.global Plaza

Salary: $79,500-$148,500 annually; expected starting range: $79,500-$119,500.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily operations, maintenance, reliability, and emergency response for mission-critical facility infrastructure.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and third-party vendors working on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, network cabling, and backup power systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs and maintain procedures, logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate the installation, testing, maintenance, and operation of data center equipment, including power, connectivity, raised-floor layouts, and hot- and cold-aisle configurations.
• Lead capital improvement, tenant improvement, financial, and data processing projects while minimizing operational impact during maintenance and shutdowns.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel and ensure safe work practices and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including power distribution and HVAC systems in a raised-floor environment.
• Undergraduate engineering studies or technical/vocational education combined with equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical distribution, HVAC, life safety, and other electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience using electrical and mechanical test equipment and interpreting advanced environmental-system blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to supervise personnel in safe work procedures and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Availability for 24/7 emergency response, overtime, on-call work, non-standard hours, and rotating shifts as needed.

Nice to have

• Level I Vibration Analyst and Thermographer certifications.
• State Hydronics, Electrical, Fire Alarm, or HVAC licenses.
• CFC refrigerant certification.
