Project Coordinator, Facilities - SS (Electrical/HVAC)

Location: Ohio - Columbus, One hirify.global Plaza; building maintenance environment with on-call coverage, overtime, non-standard hours, and rotating shifts as needed

Salary: $79,500–$148,500 annual national range; expected starting range: $79,500–$119,500

What you will do

• Coordinate projects from planning through execution and completion, including capital improvements, tenant improvements, financial projects, and data processing projects.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and third-party vendors responsible for mission-critical infrastructure.
• Maintain electrical distribution, UPS, PDU, generator, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, network cabling, fire alarm, life safety, and other facility systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, procedures, MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Monitor BMS/EPMS systems, lead responses to alarms and emergencies, and coordinate shutdowns to minimize operational impact.
• Plan data center equipment installations, raised-floor layouts, power and data paths, inspections, audits, risk assessments, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including power distribution and HVAC systems in a raised-floor environment.
• Undergraduate engineering studies or technical/vocational education with equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in installing, maintaining, repairing, testing, and operating electrical distribution, HVAC, life safety, and related mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret advanced environmental-system blueprints and electrical schematics and use electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Ability to supervise personnel and vendors in safe work procedures and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to respond to 24/7 emergencies and perform hands-on maintenance and repair work is required.

Nice to have

• Level I Vibration Analyst and Thermographer certifications.
• State hydronics, electrical, fire alarm, or HVAC licenses.
• CFC refrigerant certification.
