Indirect Category Manager

What you will do

• Lead global category management and strategic sourcing for indirect categories, including IT hardware, software and services, corporate services, capital expenditures, and facilities/MRO.
• Develop category business plans, market analyses, pricing strategies, cost-saving targets, risk mitigation plans, and service-level agreements.
• Lead negotiations for major and global supplier agreements covering pricing, terms, conditions, warranties, risk mitigation, quality, service, and delivery.
• Analyze spend data, supplier performance, market trends, cost drivers, and life-cycle costs to identify sourcing opportunities and high-potential suppliers.
• Coordinate cross-functional sourcing and supplier qualification projects across multiple global locations and manufacturing sites.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, resolve disputes, and deliver a target of 5% year-over-year net cost reductions for assigned categories and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited college or university.
• Progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or an equivalent field; experience with indirect materials and services is preferred.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and tools in global supply chains and multi-plant manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to deliver significant cost reductions and service-level improvements, negotiate long-term contracts, and mitigate supplier risks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
