Senior Project Superintendent

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; full-time onsite position

What you will do

• Represent Christman at the project site throughout daily construction activities and establish expectations for safety, quality, housekeeping, and conduct.
• Review design and construction documents for constructability, phasing, temporary protection, site logistics, and field construction issues.
• Develop project-specific safety programs, conduct site orientations, and coordinate ongoing safety discussions with trade contractors.
• Plan site logistics, including traffic patterns, equipment locations, storage, staging, and overlapping work areas.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, client, and trade contractors on work plans, schedules, progress meetings, and trade contract execution.
• Oversee technical interpretation, construction methods, submittals, quality expectations, punch lists, and authorization of trade contractor timesheets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 10 years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent, including multiple projects or one large and complex project typically valued at $40 million or more.
• Training or coursework in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Advanced knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, job cost accounting, site requirements, construction methods, tools, materials, and trade divisions.
• Ability to lead large groups, manage risks, drive project schedules, solve problems, analyze reports, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years leading a large or complex commercial construction project.
• OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or other safety and quality certifications.
