Mental Health Clinical Faculty (Part-Time): Delaware (Mental Health Nursing)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, USA; teaching is onsite in a clinical setting.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Implement the nursing program curriculum, philosophy, outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise nursing students providing care to individuals or groups.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely, documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Provide student remediation and maintain awareness of clinical partner policies and procedures.
• Develop clinical assignments suited to students’ knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade written work and communicate student or agency issues to the course coordinator and dean.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Unencumbered registered nursing license in Delaware.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
• Strong subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Teaching or precepting experience.
