Senior Program Manager

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; primarily office-based

Base salary: $125,000–$155,000 per year, plus eligibility for a performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and negotiate business plans for assigned programs, including new business, renewals, retention, rates, growth, and profitability objectives.
• Manage underwriting quality reviews, file reviews, account referrals, delegated underwriting authority, and Program Administrator peer-review processes.
• Analyze program data, renewals, rates, retention, trends, lost business, exposures, and aggregate annual loss to protect portfolio performance.
• Identify products, coverage, eligibility, policy-form, rule, and rate enhancements for assigned insurance programs.
• Coordinate stewardship meetings and collaborate with Actuarial, Accounting, Claims, Operations, IT, Risk Management, Product Development, and Underwriting.
• Oversee implementation of new programs and maintain market, industry, and competitor intelligence through Program Administrator relationships and external events.

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial underwriting experience focused on multiline package portfolio management.
• Proficiency with hirify.global policy rating and issuance platforms, such as Cover-All.
• Working knowledge of ISO, admitted, and non-admitted product execution.
• Understanding of manuscript and admitted-form language and policy coverage analysis.
• Strong communication, relationship management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% and work in a dynamic, changing environment.
