Structural Engineer

Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada; full-time, onsite role

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Design and analyze pipe supports, anchors, guides, restraints, and related structural components.
• Perform structural calculations for steel supports, base plates, anchorage, and foundations.
• Design seismic bracing systems in accordance with applicable building codes and standards.
• Evaluate loads and structural interfaces while coordinating with mechanical, civil, and architectural disciplines.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and engineering deliverables, and provide technical support to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Support field activities through site visits, troubleshooting, installation guidance, meetings, and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including ASCE, IBC, AISC, ACI, and NFPA.
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools such as RAM, RISA, STAAD, or similar software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel 15–20%.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with pipe support design and industrial or building systems.
• Experience leading complex or large-scale projects.
