Senior Building Analyst, IESVE Specialist

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada — 200 Granville Street

Base compensation: CAD 90,000–100,000 annually

What you will do

• Execute advanced and parametric energy simulations using IESVE, eQuest, and other software platforms.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and maintain high-quality standards for technical deliverables.
• Develop custom tools and workflows to improve energy modeling efficiency.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations and maintain professional client relationships.
• Plan workloads, delegate tasks, and coordinate project resources and timelines.
• Supervise, coach, and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate staff.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with IESVE and 4 or more years in energy modeling or design analytics.
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng) required.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NECB, LEED, CaGBC Zero Carbon, Passive House, BC Energy Step Code, Toronto Green Standard, and related building codes.
• Proficiency in MEP systems and architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling software, with demonstrated project management and leadership experience.

Nice to have

• BEMP, LEED AP, or CPHC/D credentials.
• Experience with energy audits and programming tools.
