Principal Quality Assurance Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between regional semiconductor assembly suppliers and hirify.global.
• Establish and maintain supplier quality standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Manage quality excursions and drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Support process and material changes, site certification, supplier audits, and manufacturing compliance activities.
• Evaluate assembly processes including Cu Clip, surface mount technology, components, and related manufacturing techniques.
• Identify quality trends, manage improvement projects, and influence cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in supplier quality management, supplier selection, continuous improvement, and manufacturing excursion response.
• Proven experience with semiconductor assembly processes, especially Cu Clip and surface mount technology.
• Experience with 8D, 5-Why, fishbone analysis, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience auditing manufacturing environments against ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF16949 standards.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
