Engineering Intern (Slider Process Engineer)

Location: Korat, Thailand. Onsite role with no travel required.

What you will do

• Monitor slider fabrication processes using statistical process control and perform root cause analysis.
• Define containment, corrective, and preventive actions for production issues.
• Develop more robust processes using FMEA and Six Sigma tools.
• Review and update control plans and train Manufacturing teams.
• Analyze reader/writer performance issues and provide upstream and downstream feedback, short-term fixes, and long-term actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Maintenance Engineering to solve production-line problems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of problem-solving and data analysis.
• Experience or ability to use SQL, Minitab, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent English communication in listening, speaking, writing, and reading.
• Open-minded attitude and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
