Senior Process Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Sri Racha, Thailand; onsite at the Thailand plant

What you will do

• Own engineering topics related to manufacturing processes at the Thailand plant.
• Define and implement process standards for new projects, localization, and product changes, including PFMEA, work instructions, and layout management.
• Define specifications for tooling and machines, lead design reviews, and validate machine performance through testing and trials.
• Develop robust processes and implement Lean principles and automation to improve efficiency, ergonomics, cycle time, and waste reduction.
• Support APQP launch activities from Design Freeze to Start of Production, including trials, PTR, IRR activities, and customer R@R audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned while improving scrap, productivity, VPS implementation, and cost savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of process engineering experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience with rubber-to-metal products, bonding, vulcanization, assembly processes, machine design, process development, and automation implementation.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Lean principles, and ISO/TS standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T; proficiency with CAD software for design and layout.
• Basic Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge, plus a strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and HSE compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) industry.
• Experience handling complex projects and processes.
