Supervisor Mechanical Maintenance (Nuclear Power)

Location: Onsite at Dresden Nuclear Power Station in Morris, Illinois

Salary: $133,200–$148,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Supervise, assign, and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities and craft personnel.
• Ensure maintenance work is performed safely by qualified workers in accordance with plant procedures, NRC regulations, and schedules.
• Coordinate work control, planning, scheduling, engineering meetings, online work, and refueling outage activities.
• Coach, mentor, train, and manage the performance of assigned employees.
• Oversee vendor inspections and equipment repairs, including the procurement and use of parts, tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Participate in maintenance management, corrective actions, emergency response, and outage support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years of related mechanical maintenance experience; or an associate degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of experience; or a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of experience.
• Ability to maintain applicable minimum or unescorted access requirements and pass required medical examinations or testing.
• Experience supervising, training, and qualifying maintenance personnel.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes, work control, corrective action programs, and applicable nuclear plant procedures and regulations.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.
• Fluent use of an electronic work management system, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
